Two groups of students from Class 4AP (current graduates of II LO) went on a rail journey through many European countries after receiving an opportunity from the European Commission. All thanks to the DiscoverEU competition.
DiscoverEU is an activity of the Erasmus+ programme, thanks to which young people, after receiving free tickets, can take a trip around Europe, gaining new experiences in this way. Eighteen-year-old legal residents in one of the European Union countries can participate in the programme.
The winners received Interrail tickets from the EU. The prize enabled the students to visit places such as Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, The Hague, Antwerp, Brussels, Luxembourg, Paris, St Raphael, Nice and Monaco, among others. The graduates took this trip just after their school leaving exam, at the end of May/beginning of June, filling in the time waiting for their exam results. The trip was certainly an unforgettable experience for them and provided many impressions.
